Introducing Paul

Paul is a new teacher at Yoga Above Northampton, he teaches on Wednesdays from 5:00-6:15pm.


His class is equally suited to beginners and long time yoga practitioners, the class is all about dropping into the body and letting go of the mind. Following a traditional hatha yoga style, the class will begin with the practice of sun salutation and move into holding asanas for several breaths. Come laugh, learn, and play as we delve deeper into our yoga practice. Drop in any time!


About Paul:
Raised in an eastern spiritual tradition, Paul has been practicing meditation since childhood. His interest in Hatha Yoga began 7 years ago when he was first exposed to asana practice. Hoping to expose more people to meditation through yoga, Paul completed his teacher certification training with the Samyak School in Kerala India. The focus of his practice is on deepening the mind/body connection though deep breathing in sustained asanas. He draws from Iyengar, Sivananda and Traditional Hatha Yoga modalities for inspiration.
