A Heads Up

The Upstairs Studio will be freshening up and having the walls painted from November 5th -- November 9th.  This means that Paul's class on Wednesday and Anna's class on Thursday will be cancelled.

New Class with John!

John will be teaching Fundamentals on Tuesdays from 6:15-7:30pm starting on November 4th.

His class is an all-levels class exploring the basic foundations of meditation, pranayam, and asana practices.  Great for first timers, intermediate students, or advanced practitioners.  We will build poses from the ground up through informed, practical guidance on how to stay safe in your practice while getting the most benefit from each of the postures.  Come free your body, free your mind, and let your light shine! 

About John:
As a Kripalu-certified yoga teacher, John teaches with an emphasis on compassion and awareness while drawing on his past as a professional dancer and adjunct faculty at NYU Tisch School of the Arts to provide the technical guidance necessary to build a strong physical foundation for asana practice, and ultimately the ability to execute complicated postures effectively and safely.  His class will focus on the basics, allowing you to dive deeply into your body and providing a platform from which your yoga practice can begin to thrive!

New Class with Jackie starting 10/20

We are excited to announce a new class with Jackie on Monday nights.  Her class will run from 7:00-8:00pm and starts on October 20th.  It is an open level class.

About the class:
An all-levels vinyasa class designed to help you connect to your breath, burn off stress through movement, and then deeply relax into restorative poses. Classes are fun and creative, combining breathing exercises, visualization, invigorating flows, and completely relaxing stretches. You're gonna feel great! 

About Jackie:

Jackie loves yoga because it feels so good. She teaches an all-levels class that gracefully combines guided meditation, Vinyasa movement, deep stretching, and restorative poses to guide students into a calm, energized state of being.
